Before launching Inflexion Financial, Joe co-founded Global Wired Advisors and Providium Group, two prominent lower middle market focused companies. Global Wired provided hands-on management consulting, as well as merger and acquisition, recapitalization, and restructuring support to businesses grappling with unexpected changes.  Providium Group was a holding company for small business focused assets.  Joe’s steady hand and strategic insight helped countless founder-led companies stabilize, pivot, and thrive, whether orchestrating a corporate sale or resolving deep-seated operational challenges.

Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Joe served as the global head of funding for Wells Fargo Securities, the trading and investment banking arm of Wells Fargo. There, he managed the daily financing of $110 billion in broker-dealer assets and oversaw an additional $25 billion to $40 billion in annual capital markets deal flow across all industry verticals.

Before Wells Fargo, Joe managed a structured finance desk at Deutsche Bank where he designed bespoke derivative solutions for clients and hedged significant interest rate and equity market exposures, often under tight deadlines and shifting market conditions.

Joe’s career began on the fast-paced floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, where he traded foreign exchange and interest rate futures for some of the world’s largest investment banks and hedge funds.

Joe has a Finance degree from Virginia Tech is a GARP-certified Financial Risk Manager and is a member of the International Association of Financial Engineers.
